Halloween in Cork 2009

Hi there!

it's been a long time since i didn't post pictures. Last weekend, the whole Ireland was celebrating Halloween. Here, it is not only a commercial day as it is in Europe, but it's also a tradition that nobody would miss. the streets are totally full, everybody's getting the latest scary accessoire. There was also a queue of 50 meters in front of the costumes shops. We saw a lot of scary people in the streets, and you can be sure that the girls always wear something sexy and very short. Actually, even in the sex shops you find costumes for halloween and it's not rare to see the same costumes in the "normal" shops. Crazy!

We didn't want to invest a lot of money in a costume but we were almost obliged to buy an accessoire because everybody was doing so, and we didn't want to be boring... i found a blong wig and felix a moustache with a hat. It was quite funny to go to a party organised by some colleagues of mine, me in blond, and felix almost as a mexican.  Look at us!

at the end of the party, i had lost my wig, Felix had lost his moustache, but we had a really good night!

What i can say about that, is that Halloween is really funnier in Ireland than it is in France for example, where nobody dared to really get dressed up. People find it a little bit ridiculous in France. In Ireland, everybody's up for parties and good fun!

so i hope you enjoyed me in blond, because i think it is never gonna happen again )
